New Calendar Security

Posted by Richard Kuhlenschmidt Tue, 22 Apr 2008 16:45:00 GMT

We have changed the way the View access on our calendars work.

Now, no event can have more open View access than that of the parent calendar.

For example, if you have a calendar that has View access equal to Parents, no event on that calendar can have View access more open than Parents. This means an event cannot have View access of Parents and Adult Kids, Family, Family and Friends Only, or Public (Everyone). An event on this calendar can however have View access of Private.

We hope this change makes the managing of calendars a more intuitive experience.
