What makes Famundo Different?

I had a very nice interview with Paul Nyhan of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer a few weeks ago about Famundo. He was doing a round up of different solutions for organizing your family. Unfortunately, probably due to some copy editor’s scissors, the key differentiator between Famundo and the other solutions was cut out of the published article.
Our slogan is “It’s your Family, It’s your World, Bring it all together.” When we say your “World” we believe it consists of your family, your friends and the community you belong to.
I don’t know about you but one of the major causes of stress that I have is managing my family’s schedule. The kid’s go to two different schools, they have outside sports, scouts and other activities. My wife and I have both our work and home schedules to balance. Trying to keep this all organized is a major undertaking.
Famundo can eliminates a lot this tedium by connecting your schedules with the other schedules that are important to you, your school, church, sports and other events can be automatically added to your family’s schedules, with no effort on our part.
We do this by making a special version of Famundo for community organizations like schools, churches and sports teams. They can use our program for free and there is nothing for them to install — it’s all hosted on our secure servers. Once they have their schedules in Famundo, you can subscribe to the events that are important to you and have them automatically appear on your Famundo family calendar.
If we can do this one single thing to make your life easier, we’ve accomplished our goal.
