Two exhibitors at the National PTA conference offer some really useful information for parents.
The TV Parental Guidelines Monitoring Board has a very useful web site that explains in detail the TV Ratings system and the V-Chip, which has been in all TVs produced since 2000.
NotMyKid.org has a great web site. They are a national non-profit organization, is devoted to educating individuals and communities about behavioral health issues facing our teens today, believing that through education we can achieve prevention.
Both definitely worth checking out.
